Plaxco, Chemistry and BIochemistry; Interdepartmental Program in Biomolecular Science and Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA In the course of constructing aptamer-based electrochemical biosensors, we have learned that some of those single stranded oligonucleotides have limited selectivity. By employing aggressive negative selection, we aim to generate aptamers that with high selectivity. Furthermore, we have refined an approach for easily selecting aptamers that identify small molecule targets. Extended Abstract Status: Not Uploaded | ||
